Miles Hildebrand
DVM
Special Interests: Sports medicine & Chiropractic
Dr. Hildebrand completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Ross University, College Of Veterinary Education in 1998, completing his clinical studies at North Carolina State University.
His undergraduate education was completed at Texas A&M University with an interest in Political Science.
Dr. Hildebrand grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. where his father owned racehorses and he worked as a groom at the track. He was involved in semi-pro, college, and minor-league baseball as a player, coach, and scout. Before vet school, Dr. Hildebrand worked in politics, including as a White House Liaison. Now he enjoys sailing, ice hockey, scuba diving, and spending time with his family and pets.
Elizabeth Kruttlin
Special Interests: Acupuncture, Lameness, Neurology, Anesthesia
Dr. Kruttlin completed her Doctor of Veterinary Degree at Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. In conjunction with the veterinary school, she also completed a master’s degree, focusing her research on the Prevention of EPM in horses.
Dr. Kruttlin was born and raised in northern Michigan. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, horseback riding, and downhill skiing.
Jessica D. Younk
Special Interests: Lameness and Sports Medicine, Certified Equine Chiropractor, Acupuncture, Surgery
Dr. Younk graduated from Michigan State University with an Animal Science degree in 2004, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She then completed an internship at Wisconsin Equine Clinic & Hospital, gaining invaluable experience in all areas of equine medicine, surgery, lameness, and reproduction. She has pursued post-graduate training in advanced lameness evaluations, spinal manipulation, acupuncture, and diagnostic imaging, with a focus on maintaining the equine athlete.
Dr. Younk grew up in a small northern Michigan town, where her family raised Morgans for many years. She now owns a warmblood gelding and trains in Dressage. In her spare time, she enjoys spending as much time as she can outdoors. Her many interests include riding running, biking, kayaking, and hiking.
Diana Helm
Special Interests: Dentistry, emergency medicine, small ruminants/food animals
Dr. Helm completed her undergraduate studies at Miami University with a degree in Zoology and Environmental Science in 2010. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 2014. She then completed a field service internship at the University of Georgia where she gained advanced education in dentistry, equine sports medicine, and food animal medicine and surgery.
Dr. Helm grew up in Shelby Twp, Michigan and has been riding horses since she was 8 years old. She was a member of Ray’s Riding Rascals 4-H club and Eisenhower’s Equestrian team. In college, Dr. Helm became interested in food animals while working at a large animal veterinary practice. In her spare time, Dr. Helm enjoys trail riding her horse Bella, hiking, rock climbing, and helping with her family farm.
Mason Ureche
Special Interests: Dentistry, Preventative Medicine and emergency medicine
Dr. Ureche is a Michigan State University graduate with Animal Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees.
Dr. Ureche grew up in Shiawassee County, Michigan showing 4-H horses. Prior to veterinary school, he was an AQHA western pleasure trainer in North Carolina. In his spare time, Dr. Ureche enjoys hiking and camping with his wife and dogs.
